The town belongs to the most significant recreational centers in the Giant Mountains and is visited by many tourist all year round because it offers them a lot as a well known ski center as well as a summer tourist center due to its high number of pathways and discovery routes. Colored marked pathways and bicycle routes lead you along the river Mummel with its waterfall or its mountain ridges with a beautiful view into the valleys of the Giant Mountains. In the winter, this town is the center of all winter sports. Vast cross-country trails and very well prepared pistes provide winter entertainment without limits!
