Świeradów Zdrój - Spa town at the edge of the Jizera Mountains
The spa town enjoys a good reputation above all due to its mineralized water, healthy springs and curative mud. But also the natural microclimate is superb. The interaction of gentle foehn winds, soothing radon and widespread spruce forests relieves many afflictions. No wonder that already since the 18th century Świeradów-Zdrój has relied on the vitalizing impact of nature. Nowadays, an extensive program of different modern therapies is being offered. Cures and vacations are complemented by relaxing strolls through wild and romantic mountainous landscapes. In case of cold winters, there is the possibility of trips into snowy nature including a relaxed downhill run from the Stóg Izerski.
